Kawaii yo!!!
Hikoki. Actually, now that I think about it, can you say kawaii about something as big as an airplane? The pictures of Hello Kitty on the plane are cute although they are also huge because it's a plane.
Hitomi-sensei, is it appropriate to refer to something big like that as "kawaii"?
They certainly went above and beyond with the meals that are shown.
My husband and I flew Japan Airlines last year, and I must say that I was so very impressed with the meals and the service.
ophelia san,
Sure, you can still say "kawaii (かわいい)"about something as big as an airplane.
When I first saw this airplane, I thought...
(=Wow! This airplane has pictures of Hello Kitty on it! So cute!)
So there you go! (^-^)
I have never flown Japan Airlines, but have heard that their service and the meals are pretty good.
The food of JAL is very good!
they asked "do you want japanese food or western food?".
Of course we said: "Japanese!"
Hello Kitty Airlains
^_^
I chose to get a vegetarian meal. It was good but the japanese guy sitting next to me had a good-looking meal too. He had shrimp tempura served over steamed white rice. It looked pretty fancy. Like it was restaurant food or something.
And before the food came, they gave us all hot wash cloths to clean ourselves. At first I didn't know what the wash cloths were for. I just watched the guy sitting next to me clean his hands and face. Then I figured it out.
And every place we ate at in Japan brought us hot wash cloths before the meal. I thought that was pretty neat.
This is Eva Airlines, a Taiwan company, which I think is a different company from Japan Airlines. Aren't they different companies? I agree that Japan Airlines is excellent in food and service and comfortable chairs... but Eva Airlines is not very good. However, I have not flown the Hello Kitty plane... maybe it is nicer than the Eva Airlines planes I have flown from the US to Taiwan. Also, I do think it is kawaii! :)
